Job Mission
Reporting to the Technical Advisor Director. The mission is to support our sales team to increase the sales of Puratos Japan products to selected key accounts through a professional and disciplined approach.
Key Tasks
§ Part of the technical department working in close cooperation with sales/ marketing and R&D team.
§ Provide technical support to help the sales team achieve their financial objectives.
§ Develop new pastry / chocolate recipes, according to requests from the sales team and marketing team.
§ Conduct presentations / demonstrations with the Puratos products to create new business with customers.
§ Give technical advice to semi-industry and industrial customers.
§ Develop / improve recipes for industrial production lines. Be in charge for line tests done at customer’s factories.
§ Maintain existing business and develop new business by identifying opportunities and threats at key customers.
§ Using the Puratos products (chocolates, pastry mixes, glazes, …) in all proposals and applications.
§ Using the Innovation Centre in Tokyo and Osaka to give presentations to customers.
§ There will be sporadically short business trips in Japan.
Requirements/Competencies
§ 10 years of experience in pastry/chocolate preferably linked to (semi) - industrial companies.
§ High level of professional technical skills as well a theoretical and practical knowledge from (semi) - industrial pastry productions.
§ Working in an organized way.
§ Be able to adapt technical support according to the needs of customers.
§ Japanese Language. (Knowledge of English is a plus)
§ Strong communication skills. Be a good communicator and speaker who’s able to speak before an audience.
§ Have a commercial sense.
